Is it really necessary to remove all this stuff just to change diffuser!? Even on a 300 ST Cupra

No the ST Has a different bumper setup and from memory some guys have fitted the Rieger one without the need to take it off.

However on the 290 3 / 5 door I am pretty sure they had to remove it to fit the Rieger one.

Its not a hard job to do I did it on my own.

Hi, I need to replace the lower trim section of the diffuser after the wife reversed into some rocks :(. Do you need to remove the bumper to just replace that part (the pice that has the cutouts for the exhaust?) TIA

The stock diffuser required the rear bumper to be removed. It's held in with so many little clips which will induce much swearing when trying to remove.

great thanks for that. Am thinking of using the multi tool to try cut the clips off from underneath, can peel the diffuser back enough to get at most of them,
