Revo remap?

Hi all quite new here, recently bought MK1 Leon Cupra which came with alot of paperwork. Whilst going through some of the paperwork, I found invoice that says REVO ECU re calibration with sum of around £300. I believe this may be proof of remap but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what this means? I've come from Skoda Fabia VRS MK1 which is mapped to 170bhp and it certainly is quicker than my Leon. Is there any way of checking if my Leon is mapped or on switchable map?

Who’s the invoice from and are they still trading?
I’d call them too.

Funny thing, your old car shouldn’t be quicker even than a standard Cupra.
Standard they are 180.
Mapped stage 1 usually around 200 ish.
Maybe something not quite right there.

Update, I emailed REVO and they got back to me...

Good Morning,

We wouldn’t have any details of the registration number here at the development center, that would be with the dealer whom carried out the work.

Also, this may not be the cars current state, as may have had a factory update since, or if it’s a 2.0TFSi variant, the MED9 ECU has no memory capability, so if losses battery power it will default to factory performance settings and will need the settings putting back in (the software can’t go anywhere unless overwritten by a complete factory stock file). So, best option would be to visit your local Revo dealer, get the car plugged in and checked for software and settings – https://www.onlyrevo.com/dealer-locator

Kind Regards

So I then emailed Regal Autosport as the invoice is from them and this is what they said.

Hey Hamza,

Thank you for your email and congrats on the purchase!
Unfortunately we do not store records going back that long. We are also not a REVO dealer any longer so I would not be able to help you with any REVO related enquiries.
Let me know if you have any further questions…

Best Regards,

I'm totally confused what to do now. My mate suggested I install a boost gauge which tells whether car is mapped or not but all this turbo upgrade stuff is new to me. Would boost gauge show me anything?

Original Garage no longer do Revo, so use the revo dealer locator and see if you can find a local garage and talk with them about doing a check and fixing if required.

Yup. Go to a revo dealer. Have them check.
Most tuners will be able to tell you what's on there anyway.
While I was at Badger5 car came in thought it was standard. Once plugged in it showed a revo map on it but switched d off.
It was taken off and he started again.
