Painting alloys black

Hi, what do people think about painting my 16" SE COPA alloys gloss black? I'd love a new pair of alloys 17" or maybe 18" but money is tight and I don't like the alloys that much on mine. Does anyone think they won't look very good or will they look alright?

Cheers.

I think satin/matt black would work better on your colour car. I find gloss black only works on white and certain metallic colours. But its down to personal preference I guess.

My 2 pence is that you should paint them dark gun metal grey as black is a pain in the butt for chips as I find out weekly lol

Think I might look at Anthracite/Gun Metal grey as the alloys are only 16"s i feel black may make they just look a bit daft especially as the car is silver. Cheers for the suggestion :coolthumb

I agree with Topzzy55, if you're going to go dark, go Anthracite. Black will make your wheels seem even smaller, and it's harder to see the design of the wheel in black.
