Recently I got did the slow speed resistor mod because I never had my fans running when at temperature in hot weather. *(my a/c has a leak so cant test the slow speed using the a/c button on the climate)*
I tested the fans briding the 1-2 and 2-3 pins on the rad thermo switch, slow speed works fine and high speed working too, but the fans never run when idling or sitting in traffic but do run when I turn the car off sometimes along with the second pump by the radiator for a few minutes.
Because my high and slow speed work when the switch is bridged does that link to a faulty thermo switch in the radiator??
