Hi And thanks for reading this and I know thread is titled VAG-COM but I think this close enough !
Any way to the question,Has any one been in contact with the OBD team ?

I have sent a email to them asking for a answer to a question and after quite some time I Got a reply saying in just a couple of words "there is no problem" again waited and sent another reply asking have they sorted it, and got a one word answer "No" and then sent another and again answer saying no problem there end, so again asked for a answer and have had no response since

So any one had any better C/S request ?

Great product, very poor customer service.

VCDS is great product and good customer service but cost's a lot more.

Have you raised your issue on the OBD11 Forum and any of the multiple facebook pages

Hi And thanks for the reply, I did pot a post on one of the facebook pages(cannot remember which) but its not about coding etc I am after buying one along with the Pro package and there is a Discount code going round so thought I would make use of the 10% discount so placed the the two items in the basket and applied the Promo code good so far but when I looked at the final price only 5% had been deducted.
So that why I wanted to get a answer but all I got was a handful of words and no real help

Supprised they did not help out on that, but it can be a language problem.

Where did you get the discount code from (I guess these codes change value over time)

Just as an aside when you enter the code does it show the discount rate or just its accepted.

Yes I thought that but I would have thought it was not the first english contact, but I got the code from a facebook page with a advert offering the discount, as this was a couple of weeks ago you might be correct but I spotted the advert last night and tried the (same) code and this time did
nothing in the checkout.
Its not a lot but I feel its better in my pocket if they are offering a code

Just to answer your latest question when I put the code in it shows about £3.50 discount should be about £6.00

You are not the first english person but they are lituanian so english is not there native language.

The facebook page is this an OBD11 one or somebody else, if somebody else I would go back to them and tell them the issue you are having hopefully they can help you. If its OBD11 then tell support that the offer is not coming through.

No it is the OBD11 one, if you click on it it takes you to the site, add the two items and go to checkout and there is a box for the code
that they gave in the advert

which is not a facebook site that is OBD11 Web Site. What facebook site showed you the advert that offered 10% off (is it still there).

I suspect the problem is however that the 10% 3.52 is only against the dongle 35.20 not the pro code £21.99

I know what you mean, the advert was on a sponsored page on the main page, and again thats the way it looks its only on the dongle but
does not say that, and again why did the guy not say that?

that will be a language thing and the quality of staff not using the brain cell.

He say you got the discount but did not go the extra mile to tell you the discount was only applied to the dongle.

Sorry you have had so much hassle of this but at least now you understand, I would just drop them a mail and explain that it was not clear.
