Hi all,
Just had my car (15 plate Leon 1.2TSi) in for MOT, it passed with one advisory (misting on a shock absorber), as part of the process, the garage also did a "vehicle health check" which I received a video of. The technician describes a drive shaft oil seal as "sweating". There is a small amount of oil visible on the underside of the engine, but not enough to actually drip. The garage's view is that if it's not actually dripping, they wouldn't do it under warranty (which runs out later this month).
Sounds like they're taking the p@*s to me. Any thoughts? I thought I might run it by Seat Customer Services directly.
