Hi guys, I think I've come close to finding the cause to an intermittent misfire and fluctuating idle. I think it maybe the ignition coil leads the car was misfiring and after a wiggle round of the wires it was fine so perhaps shorting. My question is A) is this plausible? I cannot find many threads in people who have had ignition lead proplems and B) I can't seem to find them online anywhere (I.e ECP GSF) can anyone link me.
Thanks

The wiring that goes to no1 piston on my car had damage to the insulation, don't know if this is common or just the result of some heavy handed mechanic. Only spotted it during a service as it didn't cause me issues at the time, might have done later who knows. Maybe something to check for on your car?
