Anyone managed to code out auto/comfort rear wipe, by adaptation or long coding. I've tried scores of times in adaptations but can't see a BIT in long coding.

Closest I can see in byte 13 is rear wiper installed. Can anyone point me towards relevant BYTE/BIT.

Sorry i am an obd11 user but have the following coding that you should be able to use via VCDS

Permanently disable comfort rear wiper system
If you do not like that every time you back up the rear wiper is started with this mod you can disable it.
1 - Electronic control module 09-. Code (31347)
2 - Adaptation
3 - Select - wiper
4 - Sub heck -Traenenwischen
5 - Change value on off

Thanks, I'm actually obd11 as well, looked here for a long coding option as I've tried that adaptation dozens of times. Have you had this work for you?

Had a few seconds so went out to the car.

After you make change you have to go and do a factory reset, either all or Mirrors and Wipers which I did.

Factory reset can be found under car, settings and scroll to the bottom of the list.

I have one question. Is possible increase timeout of Stop&Go function(Traffic Jam Assist) from default 3 seconds to higher value(Like 10 or more)?
Thanks for any help.

I have additional questions about coding... I have Driving Assistant Pack 4(In our country name so UK maybe have different) There is included:
high beam Assist, Lane Assist and traffic sign recognition + ACC pack (Automatic City brake (Front Assist) with Pedestrian Protection & Stop&Go) + Traffic Jam Assist / Emergency Assist and maybe something else...

My car do not detect standing cars/objects. If car in front move(ACC detect it) before fully stop it is normaly detected but if car in front of me is stopped before ACC detect it car go with full speed forward... Very dangerous...

Im connect OBD11 and check long coding and found some options which are disabled and if someone know what they mean and what happen if I enable them:
Assistent_for_traffic_hold_up - DEACTIVATED
Traffic_jam_dependent_linear_tracking - DEACTIVATED
Reaction_on_standing_objects - DEACTIVATED
pACC_Reaction_to_narrow_places - DEACTIVATED
pACC_Reaction_to_end_of_traffic_jam - DEACTIVATED

Thanks for any help.

The version of VCDS (12.xx) that you are using is too old and doesn't have the required .rod files and labels to show the explanations to the fault codes. So first of all get the newest version of VCDS.

The part number of your RVC tells me that you have fitted a highline camera with dynamic guide lines?
The highline RVC requires a calibration process that can be done with VCDS or VCP but you will also need a VAS 6350 board for calibration that you can make yourself. Just google VAS 6350.

Yes camera is highline with dynamic guide lines.
Got myself new VCDS and the missing rod part is okey now. But still cannot code 6c camera module, when I try to insert my code it says Error22: Conditions not correct or request sequence error.

Where did you buy the highline RVC?
According to vwmodul.de that sells RVC kits also sells a new parameter upload service to rear view cameras.

Could it be that the camera module you have has a firmware with Skoda parameters and that is why it refuses to work? All your Canbus and voltage connections are correct?

I bought it from vwmodul.de :D
Yesterday I sent the camera back and they will try another parametrization. They said that Seat does not support highline camera, so the correct parametrization is bit complicated. But they will try to get it working.

Can and voltage should be good because I can get readings from camera and the module is found with VCDS.

Okay, so wiring wise everything should be fine. Lets hope that vwmodul.de can come up with the correct parameterization that works on Leon.

Is your car a facelift model? I have seen two highline rear view cameras that have been fitted and working on a Leon, but both of the cars were pre-facelift models (Meich from https://www.facebook.com/mqbcoding/ and Rojas from https://www.clubseatleon.net/forum.php)

I have been thinking for a while about ordering a highline RVC from vwmodul.de for my facelift model Leon.
Now I have to patiently wait and see before ordering if they can do a working parameterization for you. Let me know when you get the camera back how things worked out. :)

I have 2014 FR with Mib1.
There is also one guy from seat-leon.de who has same model and highline camera working even the trailer mode etc works. Told seller about Meich and he said that he will write to him and asks about the parametrization. He knows Meich well, they have been partners for some time. Meich buys some components from him.

I will update my status as soon as possible, but it is going to take at least 8-9 days because I’m on holiday at the moment :)

Didn't see this anywhere, but works for me on 2014 Fr184 SC with VCDS 15.7.1

The Mode button changes colour to red at all times with the following change the colour stays the same as all the other buttons (red).
1. Select 09 – Cent. Elect.
2. Select 07 - Coding
3. Select Long Coding and go to Byte 15 and tick the box for 'Bit 7' Drive Select Button w/o Function Light installed
4. Press escape to save and exit
5. Select 'Do it!"

For VCDS 15.7.1 it looks like this:

Permanently disable comfort rear wiper system
1. Select 09 – Cent. Elect.
2. Select 16 – Security Access
3. Input Security Code 31347 Click 'Do it' and 'yes' if it brings up other boxes
4. Select 10 – Adapation
5. Select 'Channel': (4)-Rear Window Wiper-Traenenwischen Heck
6. Change 'Value' on drop down to 'Not active'
7. Select 'Do it'

What type of VCDS interface works on the facelift Leon? Ive got a HEX+CAN lead from RossTech and there are some adaptations Im unable to use. Something about 'unable to support 256 coding', off the top of my head.

Hex-Can does not support a lot of later modules after 2016, you need a VCDS V2 or Hex-Net adapter.
