Just wondering if people have suggestions where the cheapest place to get them is, currently? My pad wear indicators came on during a spirited drive through the lakes yesterday. LCR btw.

Done a search but a lot of the threads are old, and prices change all the time.

Any help appreciated! :)

Camskill are often cheap but need to find the product code elsewhere ad their site is shocking.

I've found them on camskill, I thought they'd be amongst the cheapest, they usually are. I'll drop Bill a PM later

Having had a look at my bank account I don't think I can stretch to DS2500's this month, but I'd like to get the pads changed soon.

Has anybody got any experience with Pagid pads? I'm sure a lot of manufacturers fit these as OE items? They're well priced too which attracted me to them.

I don't really do much fast road driving, only every so often so figured DS2500's may be overkill really

If you want an interim pad to use until you can afford the DS2500. I have a set of mintex pads with 3/4k on them. Pm if interested.

I was going to say Mintex pads might be worth a shout? Not as expensive but good stopping power from what I have been told by various people.

Ive fitted pagid pads for £29 off ebay, they are fine for normal and spirited driving.

I've got DS2500s, not impressed. Really need to get them properly hot before they are any better than Pagid. Unless you do a lot of track days I'd say save your cash anyway.

need to bed them in properly... They have always for me and most customer had excellent cold bite once bedded in.

they have more bite than stock pads... Perhaps if not used in anger they have glazed a little, which is where grooved disks are often a good companion to performance pads to keep the pad face swept

just a thought

I used a bedding in guide that you wrote, think it was in your own section on the forum somewhere. I'll try it again. I'm not saying they're bad, just that I found they only really came into their own when properly hot.

I've just installed DS2500 in front and I made a bed in process. Around 8 times almost full brakes from 100-20mph. As described, the disc should be purple and blue color after the process. I think it succeeded...

Not true. I run DS2500 and 660RBF with drilled and grooved discs
Mine bite brilliantly. Even cold.
Bed in properly and alls well.
They even come with a bed in guide.
Up to 30 mph easy braking to a near stop.
Then medium braking to a near sto p
Then hard braking to a near stop
Then repeat at50 mph then 70mph
At the end they should be smoking which is normal.
From then on they work brilliantly.
Been on track and they were great. Wet and dry.
