Supercopa crash damage

So I was blinded by the sun coming round a bend and didn't see a vehicle stopped waiting to turn right, impact speed is somewhere between 20-30mph. I have a Supercopa Leon and was wondering as they are a limited edition car are parts hard to get hold of for repair and what are the chances an insurance company will write my vehicle off ?

The airbags didn't deploy and head lights are still intacted and working, the brackets are broken mind but have seen that you can get replacement kits online to repair. I'm thinking the hardest part to get ahold of will be the btcc bumper ?

And from the pictures even though it's probably impossible to tell would anybody know the likelihood of chassis/structural damage ?

That's unfortunate the chances are depending on age they probs will write it off, you can buy it back at a lesser price and fix it yourself alough it will be down as a Q reg does the radiator look damaged and the impact bar infront? Apart from that new bonnet and wing should be an easy find and sure Mike could get a genuine sc bumper.

The exhaust from the other car did hit the radiator as you could hear something hissing, couldn't see impact bar as the can't reach bonnet catch to open it

Well you could always buy it back and strip it for parts, end up with a decent amount of cash in the end.

Highly unlikely to be given a Q reg, will be marked on the insurance register as either cat c or d, probably d, iirc if it’s a C then an inspection is required to put it back in the road.

I'm just going off my old car the damage didn't look too bad but they wrote it off when I asked about buying it back they said it would be a Q reg on the books.

They probably just said that to put you off from buying it back. I've put a cat C back on the road and that stayed on the original plate.

Q plates are only used when the provenance of the vehicle is unknown or has been lost. Things like ex-military vehicles, kit cars, vehicles built from parts, imports without paperwork to prove age, etc. but they're not used for simple accident damaged write-offs.

Some stolen and recovered cars end up on Q plates if the VIN has been completely removed preventing identification.

Ah good news. Have to say I'm surprised that got repaired... must mean they think your car is worth at least £9k or so... at least that's a good sign!
