Cupra 290 Inspection

I have a Cupra 290 on personal lease on a 20k 2 year deal. The car is due to go back in December but i'm currently sitting at around 19,500 mile and it is flashing up inspection 500 miles on the dash.

Is this for an M.O.T or is it basically the car inspection as it is coming to the mileage limit that was agreed? The service is due again at 22,000 I think so its not that.

Sounds to me that the service internal has not been reset properly last time it was serviced. Might be wrong but that was my first thought.

It is saying it needs a service at 20k which is correct if it’s every 10k miles. Did you have the first service done at 12k or is it on a variable plan?

I got first service at 12k as that is what was showing on the dash.

It has confused me slightly as there is inspection at 500 miles and oil change service thereafter.

On a separate note...it seems you will be paying a lot for excess mileage seeing December is far away (mine too is due then not Cupra though)? Mine is 6k a year/2 yrs. Have 9.3k miles atm.

Yes unfortunately my relationship status changed shortly after getting the car meaning a lot more travelling than first anticipated

I will be changing cars late November/ early December. I've calculated it to be around an extra £300.00 of excess mileage.
