Is a Mk1 Cupra R that hasn’t been modified rare?

I’ve seen lots of mk1 Cupra R with BAM but all seem to have been mapped or modified.

Is a stock version more of a rarity?

I’d say so. I owned mine from brand new and it was completely standard. I kept every MOT, bill, etc and the original brochure and sales receipt. The guy who bought it said he wanted a standard one but everyone he found had been modded - hence why I only took a £50 knockdown on my asking price! I’d have gone a lot lower if needed! This was mine at just over nine years old - a good car!

I’ve had mine for about 10 years, 3rd owner but 87k.

Loved every minute of it! Such a good car.

Had four Leons - all good cars but I have a Golf now. Pleased as punch with it but now they’ve dropped the three door manual, I’ll probably switch to an M2.

I managed to get a stock one owner car in February this year - 88k Miles - paid a little more than I wanted to and it needs some work cosmetically but I want dead set on a fully standard car - also has a factory fitted double din stereo which I hadn’t seen on any other ones I found for sale

I looked for several months before finding the right car which wasn’t a ridiculous price...
