FR Alloy Wheel Colour opinions

Hi there. I'm going to have my standard FR alloys refurbed as they are looking a bit dull these days and I fancy a darker colour.
I went to a local company today and there was so much choice I struggled to decide and I'm not 100%. Initial thoughts are shadow chrome. Has anyone got any pics of their car with different colour alloys and has anyone gone for shadow chrome on my alloy style? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I like them in the darker grey. I wouldn't go full black though because then you can't see them.

I'd second the anthracite/dark grey. I do like shadow chrome but sometimes, depending on who does it, you end up with more chrome than shadow and they're not quite dark enough imo.

I'm having second thoughts on the shadow chrome as there are a few large flat face on areas. Apparently shadow chrome is better on thinner spokes.

Now they look nice. Didn't see that option in the place I visited. Looks great on the thinner spokes. Not sure how it would look on the bigger detail of my wheels.
Definitely can't decide now!

Yeah I'd go along with that, the thicker flatter surfaces reflect more of the chrome making them appear lighter. I had some wheels on a previous car done in black chrome which is a little darker than shadow chrome. The wheels appeared almost black most of the time but the edges of the flat surfaces shone like chrome which provided a good contrast.

Another vote for anthracite. I ditched the diamond cut wheels on my VW and replaced them with a set of anthracite coloured powder coated alloys.
