Sat nav fitting

Hi all new to this was told by a friend you might be able to help ..Ive bought a 17 plate seat Alhambra se but would like the upgrade sat nav system fitted I've located 1 that works out of a 65 plate advance type model would this fit straight in are wot would I have to do to fit it and make sure it works ok ..many thanks

I have tried to fit a sat nav into my 2017 model alhambra and had nothing but problems. I bought out of a car that had been broken took it to seat af5er fitting aerial etc plugged it in an obviously it was component protected. On way to seat nav worked and routed etc but with security protection no sound. Seat managed to pair to my car and remove security protection but since then the nav dies not work all other features work very well ie dab etc etc. All it says now on the media system is the navigation data in the infotainment system us not valid. Surely Simone can help. Arrgghh
