So my previous post was about possible colours for my FR Alloys however I have bought a second set of alloys to run whilst FR Alloys are being done with a view to perhaps running winter tyres.
Whilst looking at other people's wheels on the forum there seem to be a trend for thinner and multi spoke alloys similar to the BBS set. Also this type are better suited to a shadow chrome finish. So my question is do I have my original wheels powdercoated in anthracite or the BBS ones in shadow chrome?

No, I think the difference between the two is about 10mm or something, I can't remember. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of.

I thought the MK2 was 50 and the MK3 was 51?

Not all mk3 Leon wheels have an offset of ET51; the offset will vary with the width of the wheel - e.g. the 17” wheels on the mk3 Leon FR is a 7J wheel which has an offset of ET49. The optional 18” wheels for the FR are a 7.5J wheel with an offset of ET51. For other mk3 Leon models, the figures may be different.

With OEM wheels, the spec of the wheel (width, diameter and offset - e.g. 7.5J x 18 ET51) should be cast into the back of one of the spokes when the wheel is manufactured, along with the Seat logo, the part no. of the wheel and name of the manufacturer of the wheel. Lots of OEM wheels for VW Audi Group are made by the likes of Ronal, Borbet and BBS.

The only marking I can find on the wheel that looks size related is 7.5jx18h2. No ET or offset value. Any ideas where I can find the offset?
