Cruise control on a 04 pd150

Hey all, is this a plug n play item or would I need to code it in? I have VCDS lite. Also does anyone know, if when used is there a light on the dash informing you it's on? Thanks all.

There is no light on the dash to say it’s on well on mine there is no light

Mine was already enabled in the ecu (55 plate PD 150 FR) when I put my CC in, but didn't initially work as the clutch switch wasn't working. The clutch switch didn't throw up any errors in VCDS and I couldn't find a way to test it. There isn't any light to say CC is active.

There is nothing to light up on the dash for cc

Where and how much is the stalk you've found? Considering this myself after failing to find anyone in/near Scotland that still fits these.

O fitting these are simple pal, many guides on removing the steering wheel and other components, just don't wanna buy one and it not work. Just look out for this part number.

There is a great guide on here and it is fairly straight forward, I would recommend some of that blue thread glue for the screws behind the steering wheel as one of mine came a bit loose.

You need the stalk and also some wiring, athough it's easier to fit to a diesel as they have some of the internal wiring already done. The guide above is excellent. You will need to remove the wipers and scuttle too.
