That’s something I am seriously considering now, after reading about other people’s experiences. What is the drone like?

I literally had my 280 done today and I love it. Had the front resonator taken out and i love it. Not a lot more drone at 70. But when you put your foot down she comes into life. And the dsg farts are much more satisfying lol

Finally witnessed some dsg farts from my exhaust. They have eluded me up til now as I tend to drive around in my individual setup (all settings cupra except dcc, which is in comfort, owing to the pretty terrible roads we get around here). They seem to occur in both sport and cupra modes, the only discernible difference being the dcc settings from my individual setup; It may of course be a red herring.

I was wondering whether others have had similar experience with individual setup and the dsg noise?

I hear mine most when the gear changes around 4500 revs. They are still there when the gearbox is in sport but the engine revs are much higher so drown them out a bit.

My car lives in individual setting. Engine in Cupra, steering and dcc in comfort. Gearbox in D unless I fancy burning some fuel up... most days on the way home from work

Can't fault the guys and girls @unicorn. I've been for stage 1 and dsg tunes today. Car pulled 284 completely stock and now has 360. The dsg is lightening quick and doesn't hunt for 6th in D anymore. Car pulls very strongly now, and I can't begin to imagine what stage 2 and 3 are like! It decided to rain on way home so wot runs were severely limited. It was spinning in 3rd and 4th ;) I think it's time I got new boots all round as I'm getting down to a couple of mm all round.

Hats off to @Legojon&@Jimbobcook on how they get their bays so clean and shiny. I’ll need to get a few tips from you guys. @theoldboy I think you defo need to bring the fairy liquid along.ha ha. Looking forward to next week.

Feel free to bring some cleaning gear to the meet and you can do mine.

I’ll quite happily watch @Legojon @Jimbobcook and @Deanoj1971 cleaning my stock engine bay.

I fitted a set of Rimblades to the Ginger Ninja. Some people love them, some hate them, but if they help to prevent a couple of bits of kerb rash (and the subsequent £100 per wheel to refurbish) then I’m all for them!

£30 for enough to do all 4 wheels, complete with cleaning wipes and adhesion primer... I got them in Orange to (almost) match my car and also to highlight the rim.. If I’d gone for black it would have made the wheels look smaller...
