So noticed one of my sidelights was duller than the other, turns out that 3 of the 9 smd LEDs were knacked.
Bought new set and fitted in 10mins

How do they look without the dipped beam switched on as I've lost count of the amount of rubbish 501 leds I've bought over the years.

They actually look decent and give out a fair bit of light for sidelight bulb.
Where did you buy them?

£4.89 for 2 bulbs, I don't think it's worth shedding a tear over 6 pence ha

Went to a cracking place (Pipe Dynamics) not too far away to have a dummy cat welded to the downpipe

Car's looking great:coolthumb

Don't you need working cat for the MOT? Wouldn't it be better to weld in flanges, so you could install cat before MOT?

If you have a friendly MOT tester you should be okay. It only specifies a CAT should be present then the emissions need to be low. The two are mutually exclusive but in theory inherently linked.
