Thought I'd update this. Initially I still had some symptoms of hesitation after I changed my fuel filter. However, a few days later I had a first decent journey up to Northampton. Took it steady mostly and opened it up a couple of times. Drove perfectly and has done since. Convinced the fuel filter was the issue. Hoping others have sorted their issues and interested to hear.
