I need to replace my outer cv joint. Think I'm going to stay away from the cheaper options. Euros have a gkn one but it says

Machined without groove in internal component

Hmmm. So not sure if This will still fit!? Anyone clued up on this!? Fairly sure I remember seeing some sort of groove when I had it off before.

Or I've been looking on Autodoc. At myle ones but it doesn't say anything about the groove...

Ooo I've just found an skf one on there VKJA3029 which says with groove on inside. But it says It doesn't fit my car

And my cv joints are of the hexagonal bolt type

Confused lol

Any help would be awesome. I know the easy option would be to get the part of the car but I don't want to be without the car ideally

I would avoid J&R - bought complete shafts with CVs from them and they didnt fit - they were then twats about returning them. I personally wouldnt use them

Highly recommend J&R. Had loads off them for plenty of cars, only ever had to return 1 after it got noisy after 6 months and it was easy to return and had the new one quickly enough, never had any issues
