How do I tell 150 & 184 TDI’s at a glance?

I’m looking at both although all other things being equal would prefer a 184bhp FR.

How do I easily and quickly differentiate between the two? I know that the more powerful model has bigger front brakes and independent rear suspension although I’m sure the latter would only be obvious from underneath?

I seem to recall an earlier thread about this and it was mentioned that the rear brakes are different as well something to do with the angle of the caliper being different although despite searching cannot find the thread.

the 184 has bigger front and rear brakes.

The position of the rear caliper is different.
On the 184's the rear caliper is at the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position depending what side you are looking at. The same position as the fronts.

On the 150's the rear caliper is mounted higher up

Both pics rear passenger side

Note both the size of the disc and the caliper mounting position.
