Noticed in the November brochure seems to suggest only fr has rear discs. But I'm technical specs it seems to show all 115ps cars come with rear discs?

December brochure seems to suggest rear drums?

Anyone know??

Where?

Technical data isn't in the brochures, it's in the price lists, and the price list clearly shows rear discs on all 1.0 TSI 115 models:

If you look at page five in the price list it says rear discs only for fr and over 100hp. Page 10 in the price list on the December version says rear drum discs. In the November price list page 10 it says rear discs.

So the price list technical page not make sense

Does anyone have photo of the wheels too? I think they are grey inserts slightly different to fr as they are plain silver. Just not seen a physical car

Typo. They happen a lot in SEAT price lists.

Page 10 in the price list on the December version says rear drum discs. In the November price list page 10 it says rear discs.
It says 'Drum-Disc brakes in rear axle' for 1.0 MPI 80 and 1.0 TSI 95, and 'Disk brakes in rear axle' for 1.0 TSI 115 and 1.6 TDI 95, which is badly worded but correct.

"FR and over 100hp" is ambiguous to be honest.

However, in the interest of my own sanity, I suggest the OP (who is already gainsaying SEAT employees in this thread) buys a Ford instead and asks all his other bone questions on their fan pages.

Merry Xmas all.

I may have missed the point ( SWMBO says I'm good at thato_O ), but does it matter if it's discs or drums?
As long as they perform adequately, who cares?

For some people, it does not matter if the rear brakes are discs or drums, but for some others it does, maybe consider and respect that!

Thanks I only asked as hoping someone on here maybe has an excellence lux and could tell me for sure about the discs and also wheels as well. As I can't seem to see one in the dealers. Want to know what I am getting as have ordered. My wife has an Arona and loves it and I am changing from Polo to Ibiza. Was just after bit of help

You got the answer at post #2.

But you did not believe.

Post #5 and post #8 also answered.

Why do you need telling the same thing 3 times?

And as for ordering a car but not knowing the spec you ordered. Too many posters on here do that then moan about it for months on end.
Please don't.

Leaving the thread now. Merry Xmas all.
