Brakes knocking

When I come home from Work, and take my 290 out with it being sat all day. The first couple of junctions of my journey the brakes seen too make a knocking type noise. Seems to dissappear later line the journey though. Any ideas what it could be?

I did think that yesterday with it being wet, but its been dry today and still done it. So not sure.

Pads moving in the callipers? Maybe some copper grease on the back plates might help.

Mine does that. Always assumed it’s the rears not releasing from the disks properly in damp conditions. Like yours it goes away after a dab on the brakes.

Mine has done this on and off too. Seems worse if parked on any slope so the handbrake is maybe on harder. Have had it on other cars too, esp after reversing so never worried bout it.
