MY19 Leon CUPRA Details

The standard version certainly doesn’t. On my iPhone, the central screen shows the map, and my phone shows the directions. Digital Cockpit just shows ‘CarPlay navigation in use’ if you set it to a destination. If you’re just using Waze (or google maps or whatever) for the map to view as you drive around, then you can display the cars own sat nav map on the digital cockpit. But it disappears soon as you set a destination.

This is what I was thinking.

It's a shame as I had an Audi with the full Google earth thing as sat nav and thought it was the dogs bollarics.

I wish Google Earth was a possibility on the SEAT system too.

Strangely enough though I read that Google are changing how the software will work and all the existing Audi units from 2018 and earlier will lose this feature by 2020.

Something to do with existing hardware not supporting the new method.

This was supposed to be one of the changes, but my Wk42 ST doesn’t have it.

I have spoken to my dealer and they say they’ve never heard of it.

My bw45 copra has CUPRA in copper lettering as the start screen.

I can top that.. the dealer wouldn’t believe mine was a 7 speed even when they had it being prepared for delivery. Lol

I can confirm it's not a dead pixel, I feared the same but we both have it in exactly the same place only on the cupra image. I imagine someone has made a mess of the final image.

I agree as that's the only time I see the flaw.
I just meant that it looked like it was one.

Very sloppy work. Not sure how it passed quality control it's immediately obvious.

How have you got on with traction?
Seems to have less than my 280 on weak tyres.

I've learned to just fettle the accelerator from a standing start (or should that say the traffic lights haha). I only give it a good go once its already away, got a fright the first time it sounded like the engine was going to fall out with the axle tramp I think it's called.
