...not on my car though lol

A lot of chat recently regarding the possibility that a Res delete was no longer an option for the new style exhausts on a 2019 cupra. A fella on here, Harrison, bought a Vag Sport Res Delete pipe off someone thinking it would fit his new cupra and it does!! With a little modification at least. And it sounds great. Pops and bangs and rumbles alot louder.

But the good news is that the Res Delete option lives on for us 2019 cupra owners... At least for the hatchbacks anyway. Companies will surely soon sell a proper kit.

The ST versions are still alot different looking so no idea on them.

Have you got a link mate? Interested to see what it took to fit and how it sounds?

That’s great news! Were the DSG farts a lot louder/more noticeable??

I’ll get it on the ramp and get a picture as soon as possible took them half an hour to fit the vag sport res delete pipe, sounds like the car it should now. Not overly loud but may open abit after few miles.

First time I’ve heard overrun crackles and dsg bangs praise the lord l.

This is exactly what I wanted to hear haha... story of my life I order a car for its looks/spec and sound - they change the badging and colour of callipers, remove half the spec then stick an extra car in the exhaust killing the sound! At least this means the sound can be salvaged with minimal effort

Yeah no badge on rear or steering wheel it takes the piss, don’t mind the black callipers though.

That sounds awesome mate.

Mine sounds like a pile of crap compared to that. It's so quiet! Stupid ST with its twin GPF things.

Not sure if anybody has noticed yet as I’ve not seen it mentioned, but Progressive Parts are now listing a Vagsport res delete kit which is compatible with the newer Copras with GPF fitted! These seem to only be for the 5 door however due to the different exhaust layout on the ST models.

Also as a side note - anybody who’s been struggling to get a Carista OBD adaptor, these are now back in stock on their Amazon shop :cheeky:

Any chance you can link to the res delete? I've just been on and can't find it. Thanks EDIT: I'VE FOUND IT.
