Sticky speedo needles

I've got an Ibiza Mk4 FR TDI (facelift) and I've just noticed my needles on the speedo/tacho sort of glitch when moving. They aren't smooth and jump between say 35-40mph or as the revs rise on the tacho side.

I discovered when I bought the car the previous owner (dealer) had put black tape over the EML so I removed it and repaired the fault but since doing that the needles on both are glitching.

Have I put the needles back on too hard and they're getting stuck maybe? Has anyone encountered this before?

Well I cured this myself, I think, I removed the clocks again, pulled the needles away from the clock faces a bit and so far so good. Hopefully this might help someone...lol
