Sticking clutch

Hi all,

I have a 2013 SEAT LEON FR with 37000 miles on clock.

On 3- 4 occasions over the last few months, the clutch has stayed stuck to the floor and I have to manually lift it back up with my foot if possible, or pull over and do it by hand.

Has anyone had the same issue and had it repaired?

Thanks

Yes mine was because of the thermostat housing leaking and then I needed a new clutch, master cylinder, slave cylinder, and thermostat.

Would have been a costly job if not for warranty...

I think some have got lucky with it just being the pedal itself.

Thanks.

A garage took a quick look on Saturday but said that they couldn't see any leaks and to book it in to be looked at.

I have it booked in tomorrow morning and wanted to get someprices of what people had paid beforehand.....

i have the same car 2014 2.0 184 I had the same problem , im a mechanic and when this happens and theres no leaks you think its the master cylinder. Replaced it wasn't the fault and they come out at around £300 from seat.

Couple of days later decided to take the gearbox out there was no leaks on the slave cylinder but put one in just incase was £60 now its fine and has been for 2 month.
