Hi all, need advice. Fitted new sump as cracked my other one.
Now car won't start. Oil warning light n 3 beeps. Saying there no oil when is to max.
Had someone come out n sort faults with ecu. Car will still not start. Bloke said its the timing.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Sorry buddy, I thought you had the 1.8t for some reason, lol. Just do a google search for 'mk1 seat leon 1.9 crank position sensor' and i'm sure there will be plenty of pics of the location.

The same still applies though, petrol or diesel, the CPS is needed for the engine to start. I can't see timing being the issue, it sounds like the guy who said that is talking BS to me, what would be the chances of the cambelt breaking right sfter you did the sump. What exactly did he do to the ECU?

The crank sensor is at the front off the engine next to the gear box just above the sump and the wire runs up by the oil filter housing and plugs in at the side off it
But that would not know if oil was in or not I would say more on a oil pressure sensor that’s at fault or not plugged in
