That's some good going getting those figures haha, I get around the same long term in a 410bhp audi s4 and I hammer that everywhere!

Car late 2015 280 cupra
Long term 1700 miles is 29.7mpg

Always in cupra but don't always tap it again for the extra throttle response. Seems to be just the throttle response you have to engage cupra mode again, everything else stays, lights, soundaktor etc. I just really like the soundaktor(unpopular opinion I know. ) Don't actually see any difference in mpg between drive modes but driving hard any mode gets around 20mpg driving soft gets around 40mpg but a bit of both is around 30.

Got a 250 mile trip down to London tomorrow. Longest trip yet in the car so I'll see what figures I manage

Manual Cupra 300 I am getting anything in the 30's generally. Around 30 if it's either town or driven fairly hard. Up to 40 is possible if it's a long motorway cruise for work. Of course, it's possible to get 20's but that's if I am deliberately driving near the rev limiter the whole time.

I'm amazed at the mpg in my 2019 Cupra 290. I've managed 41mpg driving in eco like a granny. It was boring but stuck behind lorries on B roads for nearly 40 miles.

I've also seen the mid 20s when giving it the full beans.

Most...99% of mine is around town atm. Hence the slow average speed

I forgot to say we also have a 2018 FR 1.8 manual and its appalling . The best I've managed from that is 37mpg driving really conservatively, hence my amazement at the economy on a more powerful car .

Stage 3 Revo Map (Around 500 bhp)

Long motorway journey from east to west coast (Linconshire to Blackpool) 38 / 39 mpg
Best day out on the track 11 mpg, last visit was 13 mpg but had a learner driver with me.

As with all cars its about how you drive it.

MY2019 ST...

Had the rear discs and pads replaced under warranty yesterday after warping. MPG increased by 4-5 to 26 MPG on my way to work this morning, so my suspicion that the electronic parking brake not releasing or pads seized may have been correct after all!

Using an online calculator to do it, my "best" run was 412miles to a full tank which is 34.05mpg that was from near MK to Nurburgring, that was done in "Cupra" mode for engine (Stage 2 APR) but "drive" for DSG not sport.

Yesterday had my furthest drive yet. 100 of the miles were down the m1 to watch the mighty arsenal. I was sat down for 2 and a half hours and i was surprised how comfy I was.

Getting to the point I got an average of 38mpg over 280 miles

Comfort mode, town driving - 34mpg. In Cupra 31mpg.

Best I’ve had on a long motorway run was 41mpg, lowest so far 21mpg.

My long term average is 27.6 (1200 miles) mainly town driving no commuting. If i stick to 70 on the motorway i can get 34/35.
