Usually book service through Arnold Clark. They're no longer offering roadside assistance (regardless of whether you book online or not). Apparently, Arnold Clark have withdrawn from the scheme. So, if you want service with the SEAT offer of roadside assistance, you'll need to look elsewhere. Appreciate others recommend other garages anyway, but the promotion was useful to some - including me..

Pity Arnold Clark is now my only remotely local official dealer network, I would expect franchises dealers to be expected to offer this service.

You might expect that, they don't despite the fact that this service is offered through the SEAT website, as if offered by all dealers.

My guess will be AC have their own breakdown, recovery, warranty and hire car schemes and they want to force AC customers into using them. They want to keep everything in-house to maximize profit.

I unfortunately recently had to use the SEAT roadside assistance cover that I got from a SEAT dealer (non AC) last year. My Leon cut out and left me stranded at the side of the M8.

I was recovered by the AA, and 2 hours later had a rental car from Enterprise delivered to my door paid for by VW financial services. The nearest dealer unfortunately was AC. If my Leon had still been under warranty for the repairs then AC wouldn’t have made a penny out of me.

I really try to avoid using AC but unfortunately they are everywhere.

When I had my Ibiza, I made a claim to AC, as my local SEAT dealer, under the SEAT extended manufacturer’s warranty my car came with. They tried to get out of it saying they didn’t recognize the warranty scheme.

Do we know where this info came from, I enquire with seat customer svs but not heard back from them yet.
I was advised by ac as car due service. I also confirmed with seat cs who had a conversation with dealer who confirmed it’s across Arnold Clark
