The registration is meaningless. The 14 day cooling off period starts when the signed finance documents are uploaded and processed by the finance company.
This is correct (for EU). It's driven by the Consumer Rights Directive, which applies to any purchases made online or by phone.

Surely if they register it, it would have 68 plate? I’ve been given my 19 plate reg which means it’s registered from March onwards? Given the option of 8th which would mean still in cooling off period?
They can register them early as long as they aren't driven. Some dealers used to open at midnight on new reg day to handover new cars, that doesn't really happen anymore but that's how they done it.

A dealer can give a registration within about 3 weeks of the new plate change and they can be driven on trade plates

Hi there - 2500 miles into leasing my 300 st dsg and loving every minute!

A couple of questions - my son has a 290 and splits his fill ups 50/50 unleaded and super unleaded.

I use super only. Anyone any thoughts?

Also, I have had problems with the DAB - too many outages. Anyone else any issues?

Finally - if I leave the car out and I unused for a couple of days I see rust on the drums. Anyone else?

Cheers

Asked my leasing company about 14 days you guys are mentioning. The 14 days starts the day you sign the financial documents so in my case it was start of Feb. She said as soon as the dealer gets the vehicle I can pick it up basically

Had an update from leasing company that my cupra is expected at dealers end of April, but build hasnt been started yet, also they have said the dealership the car is being supplied by has not been allocated yet so they are unsure which dealer is supplying as of yet, surely this cant be right :thumbd:

Exactly as i thought, ordered with Car Leasing Online, its like the supplying dealer is a big secret for what ever reason
I’m with Car Leasing Online too, they wouldn’t or couldn’t tell me the dealer, not great with updates either, you should get your SLI number from them and contact SEAT directly for an update!
