Panoroof, good idea or bad in terms of long term maintenance and reliability?
It looks great but practicality is important.

Last time I checked the pano roof doesn't open so it should be ok. However I had a Clio with a pano roof and it leaked and creaked like buggery. I also had a Leon Cupra 280 with a sunroof and it was fine.

I have a pan roof on my 64 plate Leon ST and it most certainly does open! I’m assuming that the roof in the Ateca will be the same.
My car is coming towards 5 years old and I have never had the slightest problem with it.
Certainly a great addition and something that I will definitely look to have on my next car......probably an Ateca!

Mines been good on my 2016 Ateca. Only open it as a treat mind you. Silicone grease is suppose to be put on it during service. Leave that to them.

The screen cover is pretty black as well so you can shut it down to no light which was one of my concerns at the time.
