Well jobs for thus week end is to get the engine and box out. Finish pulling the loom out. The start drilling and cutting out all unwanted brackets and bits.
Remove fuel tank and all line and remove all brake lines. Will get a custom set up with bias control in the cab and get rid off the abs too

Today's update.. .... disconnecting every plug and marking it up for when I strip the loom. Remove rads and intercooler. Engine might come out today... see how I feel. Pain in the arse working over a pit. Would be better on a 2 poster ramp.

Stripped the front subfram today. Then burnt off the sealer with oxycetalene then sand blasted out. Done a bit of welding to help strengthen it all up. Roll cage has been delivered . Gonna unpack it and see what I got to do. But I need to find some where I can get dry ice from to freeze the sound deadening and knock it off. Hopefully do a bit more tomorrow. Finish sand blasting the engine bay and spray it in primer

This is gonna be a long project.. engine bay and under the front wings now sand blasted and in primer. The roll cage has now been delivered from custom cages.. looks like a scaffolding truck has crashed bent tubes every where. Gonna buy a few more bits then front subframe can go back in.. once I have desired what colour to spray under the bonnet and inside the car. Thinking may be some sort of flat metallic grey. Not sure yet

Just been on the phone to GAZ have ordered a set of custom made gaz gold with different valving and pressure. Rears are going to be seporate dampning and rebound adjustment. Also been on the phone to VRS in Northampton. Order a 25mm front antiroll bar and a 28mm rear. Powerflex black bushes and spherical bearing for front arms.
Some solid bushes for the front subfram. So I can now spray under the wheel arches then rebuild it all. Get it on it's wheels and start on the cage fabrication..

Removed all the sound deadening today and been removing excess weight all brackets and bits not needed. Original seat rails drilled out. Will weld up the holes and then plates when I weld in the motorsport sets of seat rails rear seat and seat belt brackets and bits all come out to make room for the cage. Again gotta weld up the holes.... never knew you could get sharp spot weld drills from eBay and they lasted as well.

Right... I got the scales down to my work as she was gonna come visit ..
Sound deadening weighs 8.7kg
Metals and bits weighed 19.3 kg
So near 30kg stripped. Still more to come out too. Also depends on how far I wanna go and how anal I wanna be .
Wad thinking of getting it acid dipped to get all the dealer and **** off from underneath the car as well. But it cost about a grand to have it done. Then I need to get it on a spit to be able to spray the under side as well. So don't thing I gonna go that far.
