Max 3700rpm?

Hi

Just fitted a Ramair induction kit and when i rev it in P it won't go over 3700. Is this normal and does it do the same with the standard air box?

Also, the elbow pipe that goes into the turbo is wobbly. That normal too?

Is this when your sitting on idle? There is a limiter when the car is still compared to driving.

VAG Cars all have a limiter to revs when not in gear.

Yeah it's when I'm stationary and the gear selector is in P. I've just put the original airbox back on and it does the same so that's ok .

But I'm a bit worried about the wobbly elbow pipe that goes into the turbo. The car feels a bit hesitant/spluttery when pulling away in 1st . I can't see any bolts holding it in so I guess it's a push/twist fit .

If you turn the traction control off you can rev it all the way, if you wish to that is.
