Badger 5 tip HELP!

Hey iv bought the badger 5 V3 80mm TIP (K04_02x) my for cupra r, taking my old silicone pipe off and it's got a metal sleeve from the pipe to the turbo, how does this come off the turbo!? Its lose but doesnt come off? Help help help hahaha

I didnt think the K04 had a sleeve on it - well doesn't on my BAM 225, otherwise I think its held on with a little grub screw.

I think it is held on with a grub screw however I cant seem to find anything to fit it to unscrew! ‍ obviously it's a Allen screw ‍

Are you able to take a picture ?, The grub screw will be very small and there maybe 2 of them, opposite each other

I cant get a clear enough picture! I can only feel that one hole

So that looks like it might be a 4mm allen key , if the allen key isnt fitting you maybe looking at screw being damaged (sleeve should not be loose) , you may need a screw extractor to remove it .

I whimped out fitting mine so went to badger 5 direct for fitting!! haha

I managed to fit it! After alot of swearing Haha! It just needs trimming a wee bit to fit the induction kit better and the heatshield from the induction kit to be bolted down!

am in the same spot, undone the 2 grub screws top and right but that flange is still on there solid, am i missing something?

got it, just needed a little persuasion to break the seal from behind

The V2 TIP uses the alloy connector with grub screws.
The V3 TIP is completely silicone and clamps directly onto the turbo.
