Hi all,

I know this may have been covered before but can’t seem to find the definitive answer. So, sorry in advance.

Looking to widen the stance of my Cupra 300. Could anyone recommend me the best setup and what exactly I would need to buy, if anything extra etc? What brand also?

Cheers,
Sam.

CLP do a spacer package which includes the extended bolts and locking bolts if required.

I believe most people run 11mm up front and 12mm on the rear - that sits them fairly square with no rub.

Can you go any wider? I want as much as I can to make it look more aggressive but as you say, without the wheel rub.
Cheers.

Also, what is CLP chap?

I've seen people run 15mm on the rear, but they've mentioned that they do get the odd bit of rub on rough/bumpy roads.

CLP are a VAG and BMW specialist in Sheffield - I use them for fitting parts and servicing, they're about a 100 mile round trip for me; highly recommend them if you're local

Yeah I’m sure I’ve seen that somewhere before. That people run them at 15 and is it 12 on the fronts?

Yeah I’m only half hour away from Sheffield. What’s this package they do then?

Cheers.

That's the one, I'm pretty sure with that spacing the tyres would be more or less sticking out the arches... not my thing :headhurt:

I've linked the spacers below mate.

I've gone with H&R as include locking bolts and I wanted them in Black. They should arrive in the next week I hope.

I've had the 034 Motorsport Dynamic+ Top Mounts fitted to add camber to the front. So gone with 15mm front and 10mm rear.

Think you will struggle with 15mm up front tbh, as i run H&R on the Eibach springs and she is very close to the plastic rain guards
the rears you will be fine as i run 10mm no problem

As per my post I've had the 034 Motorsport Dynamic+ Top Mounts fitted, 20mm would go on with the added camber, just playing it safe with 15mm. Same with rear, 15mm would fit, but 10mm is enough for me.

Any photos though?

Any downside with the 034s, like noise or anything? I have lowering springs and 10mm spacers front and rear but it rubs in front when cornering on track and also once in a while on the road. Also done the screw mod but that didn't help :(

Screw mod? What’s that?

No spacers as yet, DHL said the drop off shop was closed so not getting them till Monday.

As for NVH, I got the Sportlines and Top Mounts at the same time so I can’t tell you if it’s the springs or the top mounts that have made the difference. However normal driving on smooth roads, you’d never know it was any different really. It’s only the bigger bumps/potholes that you can tell. I normally try to avoid them anyway, but sadly near me there are the ones that to all the way across the road.

If you read the blurb on the top mounts they’re not supposed to make any big difference to NVH.
