Well did not know that there was one unless had special dust caps fitted.
Just had new front tyres fitted and driving later on that day this warning came up.
Checked and all tyres ok Took a while to figure out reset via vehicle status menu.
Anyone had this happen.
Checking about I think the theory is that the ABS technology monitors wheel revs and I assume the cahnge of diameter of new tyre made the on board computer figure there was a soft tyre. Could be talking rubbish :)

Correct - it is a wheel speed monitor via the ABS sensors.
I would just check the pressures and when happy - reset the system.
I have found it quite accurate.

I had exactly the same thing happen after having 2 new tyres fitted. When I checked the pressures they were fine so I did a reset. That was about 2 months ago and no issues since then.

I think you get about 4psi. But it works up and down. So eg if your old tyres were running 28psi when the system was last reset. And the new tyres were put on at 32psi... once you started driving, the warning light would come on.

It's explained in the owner's manual. :)

Edit: Typo.
Thank for replies. Just surprised that tyres were fitted at 10 am but warning did not show till 7pm.
Had a quick look through user manual but in heat of moment it was easier to google when out on road.
Guessed it was new tyre tread
