Finally booked in my deliver date for 4th June. Cant wait

I ordered end of March from LO too and got my finance docs today, signed them, scanned them and sent them back within the hour.

Hoping to get a delivery date given to me this week and get it same week as you.

7-10 days is from when it arrives in the UK mate. Never takes long for the dealership to turn it around.

My Cupra Lux took a month from arriving at the dealer to delivery to me. Ordered through Nationwide.

Thats pretty shocking. Either the car wasn't actually at the dealer and they got all the dates mixed up with someone elses car, or it had a big issue in some way when it got there.

Probably the latter, I only had it for 6 days and it has been at the dealers since with a headlight issue. Been 2 weeks so far and still another week until the part comes in from the factory.

Its not entirely unheard of for a dealer to crash a car, or at least crash something else into it. Ive seen a brand new still wrapped up car on a Ford forecourt with massive scrapes down the side after it was damaged by their own parts van.

I've unfortunately had a few trips to the body shop over the last couple of months. Each time, there was 2-3 unsold cars still with the bonnet protection on, etc having wings resprayed, bumpers repaired. Apparently dealerships drop off a handful of cars each week that got damaged in transit. There was a brand new landrover evoque having it's whole front wing resprayed. The customer would never be told.

Picked mine up yesterday from the dealer, Ordered Early February and got to the dealers yesterday then straight to me and onto the detailers for ceramic coating

Got a surprise package delivered yesterday from Leaseplan (the finance company that Leasing Options put the deals through). There was a DashCam & Memory card, and a boot safety pack, which included, warning triangle, hi-viz vest, tyre pressure gauge, tread depth gauge, De-icer, a ice scraper, windscreen wash tablet, first aid kit, plus some other bits that I can't remember.

Had no idea they were sending it. Have put the boot pack in the boot, but don't intend to use the dash cam, as I really don't want the wire trailing from the windscreen to the 12v socket, and I really don't see the purpose of them. Nice surprise gift though!

Just had an email that panicked me. My build date is 08/06/19 apparently.. but that's only 2 days before my delivery to dealer date, so I think not. Broker says its an error and my car is already built and on it way to the UK.

It wouldnt be a disaster if it was delayed, but Im not good at waiting.

So it is done.
Cupra R ST deal agreed and deposit paid.
Should be with the dealer mid-late June.

Blackness Grey (only current choice until the others come available Sept/Oct)
Pano Roof and ABT power upgrade of course

Managed to wrangle off a few more £000’s of the price (coupled with the few £0000’s wrangled yesterday) when it was confirmed to me last night that the UK RH drive R ST’s won’t have ACC,Lane Assist,Traffic sign recognition & High beam assist that the Euro LH drives do.
Shame as wanted that, but the warranty safe ABT power increase got me in the end ))))

Iv ordered a magnetic grey colour one, but got told by the dealership yesterday that seat are now picking random names from people who have pre ordered one as there are not enough to go round. Was this the case for you?

Ordered mine, 290 Lux, mid March and it arrived at the dealer Monday of this week. Currently having the side skirts fitted, and have been told it will be done this week or next. Cannot believe I have to wait until July (the original expected delivery date) to go pick it up as not in the UK. Asked for some photos anyway to keep me going while I wait. Just hope it's not used as a demo during this period.

I was told by the non-Cupra Seat dealer I originally ordered my Lux with (since cancelled due to lengthy delays) that he could order me a Cupra R ST, but couldn’t guarantee I’d get it as Cupra specialist dealers would get priority.

My local Seat dealer is a Cupra specialist and they told me they have already been allocated x2 Cupra R ST’s for their showroom.
So I ordered one of these assuming I’d get it pretty soon.

As mentioned in the other thread they also told me the Blackness Grey ones are being built first for May/June delivery and all other colours will be Sept/Oct delivery’s.

So I ordered one of these assuming I’d get it pretty soon.

I ordered one from the cupra dealership in Portsmouth. They are letting me test drive a black one next month so I am going to have to chase them up as I was one of the first in the country to put a deposit down.
