I keep seeing these on ebay, im really temped to get them as there from Plastics for performance which is a good company for them, but i was planning on getting the read windows in the grey tint which is slightly putting me off.

Especially knowing about the other company linked above as there only just over £200 inc vat

Dunno if im just being silly tho especially as there quite cheap haha

Doesn’t look like a banger to me, I demand a rename :)
It's not to bad tbh, she needs some love but I have plenty of that for her. Have missed the Leon so much. Had a saxo, golf pd115, golf pd150 then a BMW 318ci and now back here sat in a Leon auq. I'm going to keep this one and do some stuff to it. After I've done some stuff to it, a rename will be in order. The missus is already going mad about it hahahahah.

These. Silver pd150 was quick to 80. After that it's game over in a TDI. Been a long year but I had some fun replacing parts on these to make good for sale.

Took it out today for a short blast to see if anything went pop, had a look about to fine the dv was on and had a massive hole at the side where it wasn't put in right and the wheels...took out the spare and I got to say for 225/40/18 these wheel are extremely heavy. Come of the Passat I believe but there not staying for long. Cleaned it out for about two and half hrs today to make everything "clean to touch" don't like the second hand car feeling but now she feels a lot better. Need to get some cupra r seats as the ones in there are old and tired fr seats. Oh and the breaks...there bad, bad enough to take it off the road till it's sorted. Looking into some bigger calipers as I have the 18" wheels but cost wise it's not gonna happen me thinks. Some good deals about but it's not just buying them to worry about. The joys of ownership of the lower class cupra....she does go alright though, much different delivery of power to my old one, guy said it had a jabba map on, has a jabba heat shield setup fitted. Can't be sure, no paperwork came with it.

Nice.
I have a set of brembos in the cupboard. Need cosmetics done. Came off an R with 93k on it.
I paid about 330 but I’d go 300. Might have pads with them too. If so I’ll throw them in if you’re interested.

Badger5 Custom Map + TIP,
3”Custom exhaust, FMIC, Bosh 550’s, BC Coilovers, ARB’s +loads more.

Do they need a rebuild or just paintwork.

Ordered a used 02m 6 speed from a TT225 for the slightly taller gearing to throw in the car while I take my shorter gearing 6 speed quattro out and strengthen all the 02m weakspots.

Also ordered a 795+ NM capable Sachs racing solid disk 4 puck clutch for my car, with a new pressure plate and 8kg single mass flywheel. Hope it's not overkill I'll need a fluidampr me thinkkkksssss

Note the clutch pictured is a spring hub... I ordered the solid version... I hope I wont regret that decision

What I mean is that the fingers on the clutch cover are usually 2 or 3 times stiffer than OEM requiring more foot effort even for a hydraulic system, some folks report more mechanical vibration with an SMF (but maybe they didnt replace the dampner/pulley)

I have seen a lot of guys on the MK3 forums talking about the fluidampr, the comment i always see is "vibrations rob horsepower and kill engines" but i have never actually understood what this kit does, they aint cheap that is for sure.

Yeah that's why I chose a 8kg flywheel. I could've gone for the 5kg steel but I chose 8 because I'm trying to stay as close to the OEM clutch package weight. When you go Ltw version you get soooo much chatter

Payday was today for me! Just had a small promotion. Monthly budget for car parts is 500-600 euros. What should I order now.

I'm thinking 80mm oversized TIP
90mm RS4 MAF
S2000 grey filter
Upgraded Diverter Valve
SAI block off plate
Front mount intercooler
Phenolic spacer

Any other ideas? Not enough this month for exhaust that's next month.
