Ignition fault codes

Could these ignition faults be linked to a problem I'm having with the car not reading coolant temperature?

In my Haynes manual under the ignition section it mentions the ECU and handling information from sensors

Also the day I first had problems with the car temperature readings going crazy, that morning my ignition got stuck (wouldn't let me insert the key) I've since replaced the key blade because the one I got with the car was bent.

Not concerned with the heated wing mirror right now, ordered the air con pressure sensor and interior monitoring sensor fault comes and goes, alarm works as it should.

I've had those codes in the past.

If they come back after being cleared then it means the ignition switch is faulty. Not complex to change but it can be a bit fiddly to get the switch to release from the ignition barrel.

Yeah they do come back after clearing.
I've done some googling and found a few people mentioning strange issues which were resolved after replacing the ignition switch on Audi VW skoda etc so I'm going to replace it.

Hopefully it'll solve the problem I've got but if not at least I'm preventing any future issues related to it.

I'm guessing it's best to order the part from the dealers rather than one off ebay

Did you follow a guide when you replaced it or wasnt it necessary?
