I'm trying to repair the led headlights on my 2014 Cupra with the proper kit from the dealer but can't work out how you're supposed to get the plastic threads in the holes? Theres no threads in those holes and you can't cut them in with the plastic screws? Anyone?

I don't want to break this for you... but it's not like the ikea furniture where you line it up and bang it in? Is it actually a thread on the screw bit? As in does it have a thread start or is it just a series of parallel lines?

Sadly I hoped that was the case too but nope definitely a thread and it's pretty much impossible to cut. It's so stupid.

I'm not sure on the repair kit but on the originals that hole should be threaded and you just screw that buffer nut through it.

What's the white powdery stuff on the inside of the hole?

I can't tell you what the white powdery stuff is, it's for my nasal cavity...lol! No it's just where we tried to thread it.

I've dropped the car, headlights and bumper to a local garage now and just said "please fix this thing" and that's it haha!
