Hi Lads

Just been cleaning mine underneath and im sure there should be further splash guard protection just forward of the real wheels going back. There looks to be connection points coming off the large plastic tray that covers most of the floor.

Anyone have a part diagram of pictures of the Mk3 in this area ?

cheers

Not really the front is about £45 the middle and rear ones are about £15 each

You need 3x bolts for the front, 4x rivets for the middle exhaust tunnel and a screw, speed nut for the rear. It already comes with 2x speed washers and 1x screw and speed nut for the rear

That is the one thanks mate ill dig out a part number and order it.

I take it you did a cleanup under there too then, half way thought it. Mine is a 2014 FR184 with only 19000 on it and its mint so want to keep it that way so im removing the splash guards cleaning and waxoiling it.

Where did you get the rear ones at £15 deffinatly going for the Golf Engine under tray seeing yours.

Mine only had 7800 and it was a really clean car on top but underside was filthy. I pressure washed under the car a few times and got under and physically cleaned it myself too before fitting these panels

I ordered all the parts from VW main dealer

I’ve done the same mods to my wife’s GTI 7.5 and my clubsport s too

I’ll try and dig the part members out as there are various versions so some won’t fit
