Clearly you’ve not read the original thread. Everyone is already aware of the cheap stick on ones. The whole point of @Dannnnn making these and updating everyone with his progress is because some people don’t want the cheaper stick on version. And of all the versions you’ve shared, they are the worst lol there are better stick on versions than that.

@Dannnnn good luck with the design etc. I appreciate the cost/time etc. At the moment it’s not the design I’d be interested in, but looks as though you’ll have enough interest :)

@Dannnn As said above. Your efforts are much appreciated, as the stick on ones are cheap for a reason!

Yes I literally picked the first ones I came to. Didn’t read the full original post as I’m on Tapatalk and it’s miles up the page.

You can get ones that screw on tight with grub screws also that don’t have to be “stuck” and fall off but you have to have a certain DSG paddle to begin with.

I think @Dannnnnn designs are good and for someone that has the money they are nice. Was not aware he was doing it to better the stick on paddles!

Slight correction: The ones in your link aren't actually fitted by grub screws but rather by a clamp on fitment. Please check https://forums.seatcupra.net/index.php?threads/dsg-paddle-extensions.448705/page-2#post-4828638 for info about these and other extensions.

Some stick on ones aren’t so cheap though ;)

Admittedly ones like these that fitted like @Dannnnn‘s would be £200+

Still haven't got round to fitting them on my car yet (have a baby so finding spare time to do it is tight)

I have a spare prototype if someone is interested?

Once I've checked them on my car, they will go live on Shapeways for people to buy:

Finally got my paddles fitted. Whilst the airbag was out I tried the flat racingline style too.

Really easy to fit, I had them both fitted within about 20mins

Fitment is good just need to tweak the position and shape etc.

Hopefully be up for sale by the end of the week.

Racingline Style (Will be available both Flat and with a Slight Curved Back)

Has anyone bought these paddles from shapeways and fitted them?

I'm planning on getting a steering wheel with paddles and then replacing the OEM paddles with Dannnnn's ones, but i want to know other people's experiences of them.

Cheers

I have a pair fitted to my Cupra of an earlier design that work fine. There is someone who has bought them from shapeways as we exchanged some messages about them.

I've not heard anything bad from them about them.

None of them have a light up symbol.
I uploaded the design to get a rough estimate of price and the clear piece to get the light to work came back as £30 on it's own.
Cool.

How do the smaller ones feel to the bigger for gear changing?

They feel pretty much the same. They are a bit easier to get your fingers on as I made them wider.
My ones allowed you to change gear nearly all the way to the top.

I mainly wanted them for the looks anyway
