Perfect Rectangle cut in carpet

Hi

Just noticed this when getting into my car (2018 Seat Ibiza FR 115 Manual). It’s a perfect rectangle cut in the carpet on the drivers side. Only just noticed it... has anyone else got the same or offer any suggestions as to why it might be there. Car had its 1st service 1 month ago could it be to do with that ?

I'm not sure what it is but there is a bolt under the carpet there.

In some countries the VIN number is there.
