Best quality or OEM Fuel Filter 58 FR PD170?

For a while the car was running rich does to the ECU wiring being damaged, causing temp senders to not work. Now I have it all sorted I think a fresh fuel filter would be a good idea.
Question is which one is the best?

Is the OEM fuel filter Bosch?
Last time I used a crossland one as it was from eurocarparts. I noticed the old one was black inside (Oil?) and have also heard this is common. I run Shell V Power mostly but still think changing fuel filter every 10k or 6 month is a good idea

I always buy mann filters... little bit more expensive, but worth it in my opinion. Before I started servicing the car myself, I took it to a Seat dealer for one last service to see what parts they used. Air, pollen, oil filter ... all Mann. So now I just get em cheaper from ECP and fit them myself.

I bought a full set of engine filters for my CR170 from a dealer about 6 months ago. The fuel filter was UFI, oil filter was Purflux and the air filter was Filtron.

They all had VAG branding and the VAG part number on them along with the manufacturers' part numbers.
