No sign of gasket going or gone, no oil water mix anywhere, no sludge issue, no over heating before or after. I've just had five mins under the bonnet and there is no smoke to talk of ATM but under load maybe a different story leading me to turbo being shot.

Turbo smoke is oil which is blue

It's like a white blue but more of white. I call it transparent white not thick white. Puffs when you Rev.
I've took the intake pipe off and the pipe is pretty clean of oil but the intake after the flap is filled with what looks like oil and petrol. Has the colour of oil but smells of Petrol. So I took the fuel rail off to have a look at the injectors and they look fine but I'm not sure who I can test without killing myself or setting myself on fire

Yeah been reading up on what's involved, don't fancy trying it myself if it's the radiator :(

it's not hard to fit a radiator .. You just need to take a few bits off

Searching for an oil leak and found this....

Another classic bodge silicone fixes everything.

Also found the turbo intake pipe was linked and half off the compressor housing so that won’t be helping anything.

Seeing this makes me glad I live in Germany... they don’t bodge anything. It’s either fix it the right way or leave it broken. Makes it easy to find issues and get them sorted quickly.

I’m sure that turbo inlet pipe half off was robbing you of some horses! Hope you get it sorted brother!

Usually crank case smelling like gas means blow by on the rings.

To check the turbo you can take off the intake pipe and feel for side to side play on the turbo shaft, or take off the down pipe and try to wiggle the hot side of the turbo.

You could also have a busted PCV or CCV valve, this is why people go to air oil separators aka catch tank setups

Thanks mate, thinking about it...it's probably going to be cheaper just to buy another Cupra....or put a bam lump in it...not sure what I'm going to do atm as both will cost about the same.

There is a busted Cupra R on Facebook for 800 quid buy and use as donor car or fix up with your Cupra... then you have an R

Mines in for a new thermostat tomorrow ahead of Cadwell evening sesh! Been overheating and we identified it today! £9 part and probably 3 hours labour to fit, in a right shitty position under the inlet manifold

I've done the delete and smoke comes from that. Vented to air atm.
Cupra r I don't have 800 atm.
Seen an agu for 300 in me, probably go with that.

AGU is the motor I would buy as well for my big turbo build. 20mm wrist pins and large port head/intake mani. Get it!!!

But the turbo is only a K03 from the AGU not a k03s so it would be a downgrade on the turbo. Check your turbo out first before you go buying an engine

Somebody jumped my fence and took keys off my table last night (door was open for dog in garden) they took the Leon keys but pretty obvious they were after the Porsche keys, Luckily Leon keys had a Porsche keyring on them.

new front door lock, garage lock and chip for leon key today. if they come back they can manually open the door on car but the old keys wont start the car as we have removed the other chips using vagtacho.

Scumbags. Why did they not take the car there and then?

Found the intake pipe wasn't on right, turbo seems to be leaking oil, cleaned and tested just now and will have her back up after the beating she just took to see where the oil is coming from...sump ECT all looks like new now lol. Sai was hanging off lmao, attempted to remove it but I guess they just left it (removed now and all piping to it) boot pipe from turbo to pan cake pipe wasn't in right with the clip just around the pipe, had to take all the pipe work off to get it on and again I guess this is why they left it. Other than that the block seems very clean with no sign of issues. After putting it back together there was little to no smoke...but still some, not gone.
