so I’m looking at deals for Seat Leon Cupra my20 with pan roof

Just wondered how much people have paid for similar spec in the last few years, who has had great deals

The first deal from a local dealer was total £35000 on PCP

Has anyone had a good lease/pcp/hp or outright purchase price

Thanks

For a start, look through this thread - https://forums.seatcupra.net/index.php?threads/best-deals-for-a-new-leon-cupra.454249/

What are you looking for? PCP, HP, PCH (Lease)?

If to buy, maybe look at places such as Drive the Deal and either go through them or take the quotes to your local friendly dealer.

If you prefer dealer interaction, try Carwow and let the dealers offer you best prices etc.

Oh and if leasing, Leasing Options were best and quickest/painless for me. Unsure who's seen as having a Cupra Leon on the cheapest monthlies currently. My Lux was 3+23, £271 a month no admin. Ordered end of January, arrived May 2nd.

I went through Drive the Deal a few years ago when ordering new Cupra. You had to put in a minimum 50% deposit for Hire Purchase at 0% over 3 years but I saved around £6k off list price and no other dealer could come close when I phoned around.

'Drive The Deal' certainly offered a cracking 'cash' deal that no-one else we tried could match back in October 2017.
The Leon with 3 factory options was delivered exactly as ordered and expected in March 2018 with no issues.

They even managed to better their own initial quote by a further £500 with the use of SEAT UK's seasonal voucher
of the time. With this extra discount, it worked-out as a 30% off compared to the official list price including the options.

I paid £22k from forcescarsdirect.com for a factory ordered MY19 Cupra Lux with 5 yr warranty which I received last Friday. Delivered on a truck with just 9 miles on the clock. Can definitely vouch for this company, great price and service throughout.
If I'd speced the Pano roof it would have cost £800 more. I added side skirts for an extra £500. £35k is rediculous.
Drive the deal were about £3.5k more expensive when I ordered. They now don't sell the LUX.

The price of your Cupras surprises me. That car would be $NZ4000 less down here and it's shipped halfway around the world.
Do you have tariffs or whatever on them?

Not yet.. ask in October ha!

Do you get the same level of spec though? From looking on Cupra NZ, what I assume is base spec is 58,400 NZ$? That’s roughly £31,540 so a tad more then us, (£31,350 for Lux model)

You can buy them for $NZ34k? I don't think £21k is too expensive for this car.

Mine had sunroof, optional diamond cut wheels, PPF treatment, DSG (was optional then) connectivity box, ACC and two more years warranty for just under $NZ60K. Back then that was 30600 of your pounds.
Base spec now includes digital dash, Satnav, DSG, connectivity box and on road costs for what is now 32000 pounds. Roughly the same as a base Golf GTi.
The Cupra is the best value feral hatch on the market. And the best thing is, Aussies don't get them.

Hell no, I would have bought two.
But they only cost £21k at the moment in the UK. No-one pays the rediculous list price. This is what swayed my decision from the Mégane RS Cup. After options that made it a similar spec to the Cupra Lux I was about to pay £30k after a discount. So £22k for the Lux seemed like a no brainer. £8k seemed a worthwhile saving despite me preferring the look of the Megane RS.

I started this thread to see if this was the case,so far I have found people buy it on lease so never own it and therefore actual spend is only about 6000 up to 18000 but to not own it and worrying about damage etc for me is not worth it.

I get discount through my job and ordered a lux and with pano roof and came to about 23 which would have been like 32 on website and I was quoted 35 total after interest by Seat on PCP which I guess if you walked in to get deal what they charge! Made me feel better and also thought about getting two at 23 ! :)

When I was getting mine I put an email round a few dealers to see if they could match or come close to the deal I got (£22,295 for a Cupra lux hatch), one of them got back to me offering me their ex demo for £22k on the nose. I have never heard a salesman sound so defeated as he did when I told him the price I gave them was for a new unregistered car.
