buy a second hand set of eBay. Then fit me ball joint and up rated bushes.
Can buy a set of lower arms for 30-40

You can reuse the old ones no problem. But have a look on eBay and you can get new from s company called vagbolts.
I have been changing all mine as I rebuild the thing

I reused mine but gave them a good clean up with a wire wheel on a drill and covered them with grease

So I bought the Cupra R wheels as my winter wheels and they already have winter tires on them. Will pick them up in 2 weeks time

Went out on the A27 yesterday after the new cabin filter and air filter went in. The girlfriend is much happier as she gets hay fever really badly - I got a charcoal one and have no idea if that makes any real difference, but the price difference wasn't huge. The power goes down much more smoothly with the air filter and the cleaned MAF sensor too - beforehand at high revs you'd get that hesitation and stutter - that's all gone now.

While I'm not the biggest fan of Halfords right now, their electrical contact cleaner really seems to have done the job, and it's cheaper than the proper MAF cleaners by half.
