Hi, Been a week of owning my newish car and loving it. Only problem is there is no sound coming out of the exhaust. So what's the nicest sounding exhaust around?

Thankyou, How much does one cost?, plus I don't like the standard looks, would like twin black tail pipes too. Been looking at Milltek exhaust, wondering if they the best sounding for this car

Is yours a copper badged 300 ST? If so a res delete isn’t possible.

If however it’s one first registered before September 2018 then a res delete is a good cheap start. You can get a discount one of the boys at Profressive Parts the site sponsor. Just PM @PP Gareth

If however you’re after a full system, I would not recommend the Miltek. Sure the quad tips look nice but it’s a bad fit on the 4drive. Maybe better if you have a manual FWD 300 ST. I’d recommend better quality Scorpion.

If you do have a Manual FWD ST, then I’d highly recommend the BCS Powervalve system. I loved mine on the 280.

mod howwver you do have a post September 2018 ST, then I’m not sure who does a system for it yet.

Yes the golf r estate exhaust is alot louder. However like Damoh has said if it’s 2018 then a res delete will be perfect.

Woops forgot to say. 300 4x4 st 2019.
In that case you’re going to struggle. As you'll need the MY2019 Golf R system, and for the cost of upgrading to that (as you’ll not likely find a second hand one anytime soon) you may as well get an aftermarket system.

Ok will a Scorpion 3.15" Non-Resonated Cat-Back Exhaust System. From a golf r 2019 be a straight fit, only asking as its on Demon Tweeks. But not showing if I look for my car, only Milltek on that site
No Golf R system for a standard 300 ST 4driver will be a straight fit as you’ll Need to cut the diffuser to allow for the larger tips.

However that system could be made to fit, depends whether or not it would also need modifying to fit after the GPF/PPF you have on yours.

Having seen the Scorpion system on the golf R, I think the tips are way to small for the opening on the Golf R as you can see all the back boxes due to the tips not fully filling the cut outs...

But may work better on the Cupra...

This is what I said in another thread! Hope it helps!
I also found this video of a small start-up in Germany who did a stage 2, then stage 3 exhaust tune on this Copper plated Cupra ST 4Drive (unsure if it is a GPF + DSG7 model though).

Based on the rear badges it’s a GPF/PPF 7 speed DSG car.

All the factory copper badged cars are GPF/PPF and 7 speed, but let’s assume that they may of coppered the S badge themselves, the 4 drive badge is on the right. They were on the left previously.

So unless a 300 4drive owner has wanted to make their car appear newer, and coppered the S badge and moved the 4 drive badge, it’s a GPF/PPF car :)
