Just popped up to say hello and tell you all that i have just purchased my first ever SEAT diesel. Ive always been a honda man but this car came up cheap and i needed something for the work commute so i grabbed it.
Its done 125k but has full history and was owned by a mechanic so should be good mechanically.
I later read about all the DPF stories and now i'm a bit scared. My only previous diesel was a 56plate Vectra Sri Cdti150 back in 2010, that didn't have a DPF.
I guess I will have to take it on the motorway once a week for a quick blast.
